Workshop on Line Balancing in Jena (29th and 30th October)

At the University of Jena a workshop on assembly line balancing was held on 2007-10-29 and 2007-10-30. Talks (in German) were given from different perspectives by researchers and practitioners. About 100 students of Jena University attended the workshop. The interesting program included the following talks:

"Personalplanung im Bereich der Montage" by Dipl.-Phys. Georg Krekeler, Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg
"Austaktung in Serienmontagen bei der Daimler Truck Group" by Dr. Stephan Bürkner, Digitale Fabrik, Daimler AG, Mannheim
"Vorstellung des MTM-Juniorkonzepts (Zusatzqualifikation für Studierende)" by Dipl.-Phys. Georg Krekeler, Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg
